DDOR osiguranje has received the prestigious ESG award presented by PwC Serbia for the second time. At the award ceremony held on May 21 at the Madlenianum Opera and Theatre in Belgrade, PwC Serbia presented the “ESG Leaders” awards for the third consecutive year to organizations and individuals who demonstrated outstanding commitment to sustainable business practices and the implementation of ESG principles in Serbia.
This year, DDOR received the award in the category:
“Strategy G – Responsible Governance”
Responsible governance and internal training (financial sector)
In his speech upon receiving the award, Vladimir Malešević, Chairman of the Executive Board, emphasized the importance of responsible governance as the foundation of sustainable business:
“The ESG narrative must begin with governance: with structures, policies, and responsibilities — with the fundamentals. Today, I can say that we have been building on those foundations. And we continue to build.”
He highlighted that the systems and processes DDOR has developed over recent years have become an integral part of the company’s daily operations:
“What we established three years ago as a system — the Sustainable Development Directorate, ISO certifications, alignment with the Unipol strategy, KPIs linked to ESG goals — did not remain on paper. It became the way we make decisions, the way we measure results, and the way we educate the team behind it.”
Vladimir Malešević added that this recognition confirms the company is moving in the right direction:
“This award — once again in the category of responsible governance and internal training — is not confirmation that we have arrived. It is confirmation that we are moving in the right direction.”
The award ceremony was also attended by Tatjana Rakočević, member of the Executve Boars as well as Leo Pandžić, Director of the Directorate for Sustainable Development.

The “ESG Leaders 2026” recognition once again confirms that the business environment in Serbia is evolving toward more sustainable and responsible business practices, and that companies investing systematically in ESG principles achieve long-term results and positive change.
