Trust and Transparency in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

 ·

Leaders from the financial and technology industries gathered in Belgrade on 16 September for the seventh edition of Comtrade Finance Day 2026, held under the theme “The Architecture of Decisions”. This year’s conference focused on artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the changes new technologies are bringing to the financial sector. DDOR Insurance was among the participating companies.

Marco Zaccanti, Member of the Executive Board of DDOR Insurance, took part in the panel discussion “Invisible Financial Services 2036”. Together with representatives of the financial sector, he explored how AI agents, smart devices and new decision-making models will transform banking and insurance over the next decade.

“This is undoubtedly a complex challenge. To maintain a central position in the new competitive market landscape, leading financial institutions will need to adopt new organisational models, develop additional competencies and establish appropriate safeguards,” said Marco Zaccanti.

Speaking about the increasingly complex digital environment, Zaccantii highlighted the importance of trust, reputation and simple, easy-to-understand products. Despite the growing role of artificial intelligence, financial institutions, he stressed, must remain directly accessible to their customers and ensure that they clearly understand the products they use and the decisions they make.

Another topic of discussion was the growing trend towards “invisible” financial services, which are becoming integrated into digital platforms and smart devices. Technology is increasingly shaping the customer experience and decision-making processes, while trust, transparency and clarity remain essential to building high-quality, long-term relationships with customers.

DDOR was also represented at this year’s Finance Day by Tatjana Rakočević, Member of the Executive Board; Jelena Cvejić, Director of Customer Services and Direct Sales; Aleksandra Marković Trajkovski, Director of Brand Positioning; and Vladimir Plančak, Head of the Loyalty Programme, CRM and Digital Sales Channels Team.

By participating in Comtrade Finance Day 2026, DDOR continues to monitor the changes new technologies are bringing to the insurance industry, exchange knowledge and experience with representatives of the financial and technology sectors, and explore opportunities to apply these developments to further improve its products, services and customer experience.
