Zdravo da su – Pet insurance – dogs and cats

For family members who trust you unconditionally

We all see pets as part of the family. Adequate care of their health often requires quick decisions and unplanned costs. DDOR Pet insurance provides financial support through reimbursement of the costs of veterinary examinations and procedures in situations when your dog or cat needs help, so that you can calmly focus on what is your priority at such a time – their health and recovery.

Why insure your pet?

Veterinary procedures, especially in emergency and unexpected situations, can be a significant financial expense. Pet insurance is a way to keep the healthcare costs of your dog or cat under control, with clearly defined coverage within the chosen package. Comprehensive healthcare for dogs and cats is a smart investment to protect your peace of mind and your budget from the high cost of veterinary services.

Created for them, with you in mind

Following the example of our Voluntary health insurance package Zdravo da ste designed for you, we have also created a health insurance package for your pets Zdravo da su. Accordingly, this insurance has been created in accordance with the needs of dog and cat owners, to help them cope with the costs of veterinary services, and offers you numerous benefits:

  • clear package structure: choosing between our Bronze, Silver and Gold packages allows you to tailor the insurance to your pet’s needs;
  • comprehensive protection: covers clinical and specialist examinations, laboratory analyses, diagnostic tests and medical food as indicated;
  • simple and fast process: claims report and payment without complications and with clear documentation steps in any DDOR office or online;
  • tailored to owners: insurance provides financial security and flexibility, with minimal administrative requirements and the option of choosing a package according to your pet’s needs, regardless of breed (except for pets that are excluded by the Insurance Terms and Conditions).

How to insure your pet with Zdravo da su?

Conclusion of the policy is simple: when submitting the application, it is necessary to attach the pet’s passport with relevant data. After that, you can select the desired insurance package from the three packages we offer, and the process of concluding and paying the premium is carried out according to the standard procedures of DDOR osiguranje. Each package has a clearly defined scope of cover and a total limit, and the premium is stipulated in accordance with the selected package and payment terms defined in the policy.

Three packages, over ten different coverages

Note: The veterinarian carries out an examination based on a medical indication (illness or accident) and refers you to all examinations and analyses within the selected package. The owners do not choose which examinations or tests the pet receives on their own, the decision is always professional and based on the pet's actual state of health.

How does reporting and payment of claims work?

The process of reporting, assessing and settling claims is based on a refund model, following the example of the system Zdravo da ste.
After the examination or procedure, the owner of the pet submits the following:

  • completed Claim report form, with the pet’s microchip number and other necessary data clearly indicated;
  • original or copy of veterinary medical records with the specified diagnosis, prescribed treatment, results of analyses and/or diagnostic procedures, with mandatory indication of the animal’s microchip number;
  • clearly legible copy of the fiscal receipt with data on the veterinary service rendered and billed;
  • details on the Insured’s current account for the indemnity payment.

Once the documentation is submitted, DDOR handles the reimbursement of expenses in accordance with the stipulated package and valid limits. At this point, your only task is to focus on your pet’s recovery and well-being, while we deal with the administrative process.
