The non-governmental organization „Space Motion“ initiated a project called „Rhythm of Life Matters“, which included the first inline skating tournament in Novi Sad, organized with the support of „DDOR Novi Sad“ insurance company on Saturday, August 13.
The event was attended by numerous rollerblading enthusiasts , and everyone between ages 7 to 30 was allowed to participate.
The central starting point for all races of the tournament was the square between student dorms „Dr Slobodan Bajić“ and „Dr Veljko Vlahović“. The races were organized in mini-sprint, junior and senior sprint categories, and for those older, a leisure race was held, called “Rollerblading against HIV”
The programme covered a myriad of cultural and entertainment activities, including a performance of attendants of the school for young talents UMS, public fitness session organized by „World class“ fitness center, public lesson in capoeira, etc, while the tournament closing party gathered notable Novi Sad DJs.
